I played with my macro lens in the back yard this afternoon. I used to take mainly macro shots, but it seems like I've been concentrating on other things lately.
Lambs Ear and Moonflowers both blew into our yard from our neighbor's. Now both are spreading like crazy. It's nice to have plants that need almost no care.
I agree, Mary - awesome. The background foliage frames the foreground image beautifully, and the sharpness of the fuzzy leaves set against the background bokeh... I'm struggling for words here, I need to cultivate some photographic language and a better understanding Of depth of field.
