Clematis Shell

Same plant as my May 5 photo, but a different life stage. This is the shell leftover after the bloom. Both shots were taken in the late afternoon when the sun was low. I picked both partly for the interesting but out of focus backgrounds.

I love this! So intricate and I love the background which is out of focus yet colorful.
