Flying into Jackson Hole by jbritt

Flying into Jackson Hole

I decided between this and a shot from the top of the Jackson Hole gondola at sunset. I think the sunset shot is prettier, but this shows more of the terrain we are visiting and symbolizes the beginning of our vacation.

I packed all of my camera equipment in a wheeled carry-on bag that was in the top compartment of the plane for the first leg the flight. I sat in a window seat and my husband sat in an aisle seat. Neither of us would sit in the center seat even though we had to sit in completely different parts of the plane. As we were taking off and landing I wished for my camera. The flight from National Airport was delayed, so we didn't have much time in Denver. I was relieved that the departure gate was close to our arrival gate, so we made our connection and I had time to retrieve my pocket camera before I stowing the suitcase on the flight to Jackson Hole.

On the return trip, I kept my SLR with me and I have some interesting photos of the storm that kept us on the plane sitting at the gate in Denver for almost 1.5 hours.
Wow!! Gorgeous!!
