I work with injured wildlife. This beauty came in with a small spiral fracture and all it needs is some R&R before being released back into the wild to continue on with its life.
Trying to capture a great photo of a Red Tail in captivity isn't easy because of the confines of the cage ... perches and perhaps a bandaged wing ... so I took a lot of liberties with this image to crop to show off his best assets.... those eyes !!!
