Night sky

The Warrunbungles National Park is known as the 'dark sky' park. I was lucky enough to be there camping in our Avan when the moon wasn't.

Fabulous, it is perfect part of the country to watch the night sky. We visited Peter Starr's property at the Warrumbungle Observatory in Coonabarabran a few years ago and it was fabulous.

@onewing We also went to Peter Starr's observatory some time back although he wasn't actually there. Not enough time - but I think there is a larger telescope in Coonabarabran so might check that out next time.
