decided to try some macro today and had a very frustrating photo session. Tried different lenses, extension tubes, etc. Maybe I can blame the hot weather - we have no air conditioning :).
These little mums are small, about an inch in diameter.
Finally got this halfway passable image with the velvet 56 with extension tubes. I think I used to be more successful at macro - need to go back to macro "school."
It turned out beautiful with the reflection. yes the heat gets us down. every day for weeks on end over 100 degree F. the air conditioner never shuts down. sorry you are without one.
I love the light and reflection - can't imagine how we use to live without air-conditioning. I remember when I first started teaching in Arkansas there was no a/c - miserable!
