Mrs B has visited my tiny Alder Buckthorn for the past 2 years and I had high hopes for a return this year. She came - but very early, in Alpril not May, and only laid a few eggs.

@susiemc Not sure where you are but I can't think of any reason why you wouldn't have them, they are not rare or localised. It's unusual though to see groups of them, they usually are quite solitary.
