Part of a Faerie Ring of Fly Argaric, lovely to look at but potentially lethal to eat. Found at a new site near my York home.

Perfectly placed by nature! the leaves are decorating the grass in just the right amount and mushrooms forming a semicircle.

For some strange reason, my Faerie Ring toadstools have become popular & trendy, many thanks. Don't know why you don't get them in Somerset, Julienne, maybe they are just lurking in places you don't visit. They are indeed beautiful to look at but I think the colours simply scream "Don't eat me." j
