I've tried to be overly dramatic with this one, my first attempt at HDR using www.oloneo.com. Considering people are literally dying for the right to hold democratic elections, it sure is a shame that some of us snub our noses at the process. Not me - I'll be working at a polling station all day tomorrow. Happy voting, my Canadian 365 friends!

Nice!!! I love how the sky turned out and the sun flare is awesome! I'm off to vote tomorrow, but I'm still on the fence...have fun at the polling station!
I agree with the sentiment expressed in your caption. Good for you! As for the picture I am amazed! I love the focus, the composition, and that burst of sunlight at just the right point. Great job!
HDR is fun isn't it! The thing about voting is the Suffergettes etc wanted to have the choice whether to vote. I never agree with all one parties policies and have to vote for entirely negative reasons( keeping Tories out) if I didn't have to do this I wouldn't vote because it only encourages politicians, and we need much more fundemental change. People often don't vote for very good reasons, apathy not being one them.
@radclyffehall ~ Attempts to keep the Tories out were not successful; 40% of Cdns gave them a majority govt. For whatever good reasons ppl may have for not voting, I'd prefer that they go to the polls and register a protest vote. Protest votes get counted and I think are good indicators that a low voter turnout isn't necessarily due to apathy.
happy voting!
