Not the photo, obviously - the bike. All parts of it that weren't already silver are covered in tin foil, except for the black rubber tires. On the left edge of the photo, you can see where the foil has peeled off to reveal a brown frame. Brown - how boring! I tried to edit the photo into something that might've been produced by a vintage film camera loaded with expired film. Dave, let me know how I did. ;)
I'm currently situated in Victoria, having previously lived in Beijing, Halifax, Chilliwack, Calgary, Vancouver and growing up in Northwestern Ontario. My aim with photography is...
before i read your caption I thought it looked all vintage and cool which means I think you were successful with the expired film/Dave affect. no, wait. Effect. :)
I'd leave the foil off the seat..ouch. Otherwise, I'd ride that glistening steed! Hi-ho Silver, awaaaaaay!!!!!!!!! Funny capture and great processing. You succeeded. :)
This has a sort of fab, seventies vibe to it and I like the angle too. Somebody had a vision in mind of what they wanted it to be when they did this. Maybe they are a fan of the silver surfer or something. Beauty is often in the head isn't it.
Hey is this a film image....Oh, right I read the caption, thought it was a cool retro film image for a minute there! Super! do you have too much time on your hands, or are you radiation-proofing your bike against nuclear attack? ;¬)
It does look vintage...I kind of love it!
