I had a water resistant camera once. Pentax IQ Zoom 109 (I think). What I didn't know was that shoving it under water at Prince William Sound to photograph a sea creature wasn't supposed to happen. Apparently, there's a difference between water RESISTANT and water PROOF. The camera died a few weeks later. I think it had pneumonia. ;o(
