Took a little day trip from Rome to Tuscany, to visit my parents who had rented a villa there with their friends.
Got on a train in Rome, hopped off in Arezzo where my parents were waiting for me. Walked around town a bit, drove (dad drove, that is) to Cortona for lunch. After that, drove to their villa for a nice dip in the cool pool... Ah. Perfection.
Best part of being in the car with mom&dad? Dad made a quick stop to the side of the road when he heard me exclaim "Oooh, that'd be a lovely shot!" :D Dad's the best.
@boxplayer After a week in Rome it was lovely to see the wide open sky. :) Hence the composition. :) @kanelipulla Traveling is so much fun, I love it. And my first visit to Italy was really quite fantastic. :) But even so, I'm still more a London girl than a Rome girl. ;)
