neon ice

How to make frozen water look good? Editing baby! This drainage from the Cline library roof on NAU's campus. I know it got cold here but even in Wisconsin, I never saw such ice.
Way too cool. Ice from out space, perhaps. Love the colors. Nice editing. Fav

Very cool (literally)

@graemestevens No pun intended, yes? Really this school makes use of their reclaimed water, among other things I am told that they pipe it under the sidewalks so they are mostly clear for walking.

@joysabin It's a shame they're aren't more paces out there that re-use!

That's a "wake you up with a cold shower" kind of shot! The caption says it all.

@sketch2 Thank you. Walks@7 has been holding off walking a bit until it warms up to at least 10 above.

@nanderson Thank you very much, the sight of such thick ice was kinda frightening.

@nydelignorsk Thank you so very much for the fav! This ice was so thick that I couldn't pass it up and had to 'play with it'

Nice capture of an otherwise mundane drainage system in a random back alley into a frozen, funky waterfall-esque sculpture.

@jeffinvt Thanks, actually these drains are along the walkway into the library- I kinda think they are out of place but not this time for my strange take on the ice.

Well edited! Great call!

@ahleena Thank you, I new that I couldn't just leave it alone or pass it up.

@elytra Thank you very much, I've learned what etsooi means from David Robinson and I had a great deal of fun trying to make this ice look fun. I was amazed that it got that cold here.
