Monday by joysabin

Monday

Today seemed to have promise as for creativity but as it played out, nothing I tried was working. I tried indoors and even drove to a semi favorite spot for some IR cloud shots. I got a few but they didn't rock my boat so to speak. In disgust, I went to the NF-SOOC 2019 files in the hopes I could find one that I didn't post last year and 'spoke' to my muse. I starting opening up each day and found that last year, September 13th was 'National Blame Someone Else Day'. I was hoping maybe this year it was the 14th. Nope! No such luck. It was back in March.

I am out of ideas and creative mojo today so this is it. Some Monday's are like this, full of starts and fits. I will mark my calendar for next year, August 13th, a Friday of course.

I Like the sound of this day.... some days would just be better if we could pass things off on someone else. I know not the way to look at things but some days.........

@amyk @kali66 @bubblequeen The author (Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy) had a term for this, SEP =someone else's problem. We just say, that's an SEP.... and run with that😄😁

VML the accusatory finger and their bellicose attitude.

I've been feeling like that more frequently lately. I think I may need to let myself off the hook of posting something for every day. But I want to finish my third year with something on the calendar for every day and that means through the end of the year.

I know some people who think every day is National Blame Someone Else Day.

I'm sure the phojo will return- just be patient. Sometimes we need a little bit of winter to rest before spring.

How have I lived so long without knowing this? Haven't even it in the greeting card sections! Of course, I'd have to blame that on someone else, anyway!

How fascinating! Friday March 13 of this year is indelibly etched in my memory. It was the day after the pandemic was declared and a bunch of us stayed in the office until stupid o’clock that night setting up the first instalment of our COVID operations plan... 🤦🏽‍♀️

Having been in HR it was fun to find strange 'holidays' to celebrate with staff. Being the bad guy about time clocks and other rules needed silly stuff to balance things out. I am so glad to be retired now, not Mom to 250+ any longer. I am very thankful for your kind and thoughtful comments. I hope to remember to mention this in time next year.😃 Only 300 days to go.....

It's thought-provoking!

@quietpurplehaze I have learned to accept my mistakes since I've gotten older but I won't admit to being perfect about it and it is fun to blame a nameless person now and then.....
