A view from near the summit of Cerro San Cristobal. The tall building in the middle distance is imaginatively named Gran Torre de Santiago. It's the tallest building in South America at 300 metres. The heat haze wasn't as bad as on the previous day; a breeze made the 31C more bearable.

Might have known there would be some sort of religious architecture away up high in a city in South America! Surely it would be cooler away up here!
