Double Negative by jrambo001

Double Negative

I shot this one with my cell camera. I mostly use my Canon nowadays, but the cell has a "Negative" filter on-board the camera. I shot this through the Negative filter.
My idea was to shoot a negative, process it as usual, then finally make a "negative" of the Negative to see how it turns out.
Not nearly as unusual as I'd hoped.
Sometimes you're just happy to get on-base....

I laughed at your baseball analogy, but I think you are hard on yourself. Only you know what you had in mind, but this is really pretty. It seems that the gold light is reflecting the sunset.

@cejaanderson @susale I guess I was expecting the colors to be way off as a result of making histogram adjustments based upon the negative's qualities.
I was thinking about it today though, & really all I was doing was filtering one version of it through the on-board camera software (firmware, really) the repeating the filter in PaintShop Photo Pro, basically undoing it.
If I'd have just shot it straight I'd have gotten the same thing. It is an okay shot.
