I’m on a bit of a fail photo wise this week - because I took a few I liked on Wednesday my motivation is shot. Anyway I hope to get back on track at the weekend. I walked an extra mile on my loop on Wednesday to go and see these trees belonging to Fitzwilliam College. I’m not 100% sure what I make of the electric scooters but I don’t mind them when they’re on the road and I’m not trying to drive round them. I took Rafiki to the vet this morning, she’s had another blood test to monitor her thyroid/anti-inflammatory medication and it seems to have worn her out because she’s been fast asleep since. Her right hip is very sore still and the vet suggested that we get her steps so she can get onto the chair more easily - or, I pointed out, she could sleep on the very large, comfortable dog bed inherited from Monty which is positioned right next to the chair. At least the vet laughed.
Weather: chilly, sunshine, proper wet showers
Covid: quite depressing that the vaccination numbers have slowed right up. Feels like we could go backwards again yet.
Good thing: having a handbag to match your rental scooter.
The trees are so beautiful! Looks like a lush and lovely spring in Cambridge. I think the dockless scooters are a good alternative to cars as transportation. Just wish folks here would be a little more judicious about how/where they leave them...not tipped in a heap or blocking sidewalks.
I hope Rafiki makes a rebound soon. Bless her.
Better than cars for sure. I’ve been practicing panning to get the moving object sharp and the motion blur behind on the stationary background for a class and failing miserably. It was fun to see how you had done just the opposite so successfully
Poor Rafiki.....feeling her age, possibly lockdown had done her no good at all... I read that Sheila Hancock also says she has gone to seed since lockdown started, I know the feeling! I hope the Spring will buck her up!
Gorgeous shot! Fave,
I hope Rafiki makes a rebound soon. Bless her.
