10 Downing Street by judithg

10 Downing Street

I think this is the first or second Dinky Door to arrive in the city and it’s in need of a bit of TLC. I expect after this week the other number 10 is feeling a bit ragged as well. It was a beautiful morning and I met a friend from my pre-pandemic calligraphy class for coffee and cake. She has persisted with her classes online and has some lovely work. Torrential rain showers this afternoon so I didn’t mind wielding the hoover.

Weather: sublime and ridiculous
Covid: Janssen vaccine approved for boosters
Good thing: House clean so time for the garden tomorrow.
That’s a very wee door....I shall look forward to seeing others that appear in Cambridge. A task for you Judith! I think the number 10 might be wishing they were as small as this just now!

I never knew dinky doors existed! Love it and your image! Are there others in London? Perfectly timed shot.

I love quirky random pop ups like Dinky Doors. And I love their mission to Save the World from miserable miserableness with some delightful little discoveries. Awesome little iconic doorway.

Love his expression. Clean house. Well done. Forgotten what that is like.

@cashep19 yes - we have a series of ‘dinky doors’ around the city - great fun doing a hunt with little ones.
