There has been a sudden crop of posh cycle shops opening in Cambridge and you'd need a small mortgage to buy some of the high tech offerings. This isn't one of them! But it is one of my favourites and every year the bike over the doorway brightens up grey, grey days like today with it's Christmas lights. I think it's probably locked up to stop it falling on somebody's head rather then to prevent theft! I'll post a photo of the whole shop someday - it has a loyal clientele and sells some very nice machines but you'd never guess from a casual glance.
