I roused myself from photographic lethargy to try a 'Framed' shot this afternoon using our collection of family photos. While the digital era clearly has manifest and great benefits one downside for me is that we don't put prints in frames. In fact I don't print much at all. As a result all of the photos on display (apart from in our photo calendar) are pretty old. I was fantasising about some nicely antique-style processed shot to show what we're missing - but since I don't know how to do that it's probably a good thing that Rafiki interfered.
You may not have been able to get a 'framed shot', but Rafiki is nicely 'framed' here :) . I've got mud on my lens , because 'Ruby muddy nose' showed quite a lot of interest in a flower macro I was attempting to shoot this afternoon !
Oh his eyes look really huge like he's just spotted something to pounce on! I'm going to finish sorting out my digital folders of photos and backing them all up etc and then I'm going to start printing out some - I recently printed a few for someone's leaving present and they were so gorgeous and glossy - I'd forgotten how attractive a print is.
@islawight Yes she was doing that, 'Don't worry I'll get it' thing - pretenting to make herself useful when we all know she sleeps all day and any mice that need seeing off have been brought in by her good self!
She looks very curious about what you're doing. She is a really beautiful cat with a great name ;). Lovely contrast between digital photo and printed photos!
