DOF Class by judithg

DOF Class

I'm posting this late as yesterday was a bit of a nightmare, but a highlight was photography class in the evening. It was a bit dull out when I took this and I really didn't do a great job with different aperture shots (we all had trouble with slow shutter speeds) but I did discover a few more bells and whistles on my camera. Just behind my friend Sarah in this shot (ably demonstrating a professional photographing stance!) is the road where some irritating specimen took bolt croppers to Rachel's bicycle lock while she was sitting her last AS exam. It turns out 365 is more useful than you think as at least I now have a photo of the stolen bike to take to the police bike pound next week and to send to the insurance company, who will no doubt increase my premium accordingly.....
I like the perspective! Neat photo!

You make me think of taking classes myself , you seem to be getting so much out of it. I like the repeating pattern.

Interesting shot, bike thieves - who needs them? I ave been so lucky and never lost any of mine - touch wood. I use a kyrptonite lock - it takes longer to get those off so one hopes they will go for an easier lock to pick - and a second d lock on the front just to make them have to work hard for it - an old Oxford lock that is supposed to be one you can open with a biro! Like lugging round ten ton of metal tho'. If they are determined they can break any lock of course. My pal in Cambridge had hers stolen not so long back she was gutted.
