First of all HUGE thanks again for the faves and comments on Wet Weekend - I'm about to take that pic to photography class for DOF homework so fingers crossed! I'm also going to take this one - just by chance the lady walked into the right spot and I think she made the shot. As I'll be out being critiqued later (he's about to stop 'being nice' about our homework!) I'll be catching up tomorrow.
This is lovely Judith & you have the blurred back ground which I learnt last week & now can't remember how to do !!! I love the colour in this & I bet there were some bees too. The figure just adds the finishing touch ! It is amazing how many people stand back not to get in your way but sometimes it just needs that bit of interest of a figure there ! Enjoy your class !!
I agree that the figure in the background makes this photo special. I hope you let us know what your instructor says. I'd love to take a photography class.
Oh and Lavenders are great in summer, the one's in our garden are behind the shed, they fill a corner, but are not in a photogenic location !!!
