An artist/musician called Andy Holden has an exhibition entitled 'Chewy Cosmos Thingly Time' at Kettle's Yard Gallery at the moment. When I walk past with Monty I think it looks really interesting and I should come back without the dog and have a look round (with camera!). But then I forget.... I realised today that if I got close to the glass I could get away with a decent shot through the window of the interesting pots and the sampler-style picture. However, in this shot the bus rather gave the game away. As the exhibition is all about ecelectic collections and use of 'found' objects I thought I would go with the flow and post it. Also the sampler says 'To a friend's house the way is never long' - at least not by bus!
Meanwhile I've been replacement-bike shopping with Rachel - what with the excess on the insurance policy and a bigger and better basket and lock (seemed like a good idea) it was a painful experience for my wallet!!
Interesting photo! I like the calming tones with a splash of bright blue to give it depth! I am no expert....but I think this is splendid! What kind of bike did you get. I ride bike quite a bit - not fast but I like distance. The pain will go away with the pleasure of riding. I hope!
This looks a very tempting shop !! I think this shop is more my sort of thing than Blackpool !!! I love the way the hanging pots are all balanced, very pleasing to the eye !! I do like the sampler too & am rather intrigued by the pyramid display, they look slightly like cup cakes but probably not ! Great find & the reflection gives an added depth !
Hehe I had to look real hard to understand the title, looks like an interesting installation. Sorry to hear about your bike, I wondered how safe they are as its so popular to use them where you are, that answers my ponder I suppose!
Time for catch up,the rain drops this week have been doing my head-in i feel like a colander, so a bit behind...luv this shot especially with the bus sort of looks ghost like....as for your wallet i do wonder why we even bother having them these days, the only things they are full of is gremlins gobbling it all up, think I'll put a mouse trap in mine that will show the buggers..lol...
