Enormous thanks for all your recent comments etc - it's all been very exciting. I am absolutely shattered after driving bumper to bumper to Loughborough and back and being in the thronged masses and over-warm rooms listening to talks. Lovely campus and great food - signage not so useful & we're not sure the course is right but that's why you go I suppose. Birmingham tomorrow.... I completely forgot about photos until the walk back to the car across campus. This building (I think some form of engineering dept) caught my eye because it's glass wall was completely lost against the sky and I thought it could be quite minimalist. Very difficult to photograph with my P & S in the sense that I couldn't see the screen with the sun in my eyes but this is just cropped and slightly more saturated than the original pic. I've been having fun processing it so I think I'll post a funky version in Extras but Nigel said he thought the original was unusual too (and he did well with 'rust' advice!)
great shot Judith - I applied to Lougboro many moons ago - it's a great place - i didn't get my grades though so went to coventry instead!! The M1 wasn't a great place to be today - I spend ages on today as well! You sound like you've got a bit of my life - Birmingham tomorrow too? I'm at home...we've swapped lives! :o)
