Well river dog really. First of all I have to say I've been completely overwhelmed by the reaction to my last two shots - huge thanks to everybody for such lovely comments and faves - I see such amazing work on here that I can never believe it when one of my amateur efforts makes it to PP and to have two in a row - well I'd say 'speechless' but I've already written to much for that!!
I had a lovely riverside walk with @helenmoss and the dogs this afternoon. In fact there was a really doggy flavour to the river with several boats and their dogs featuring amongst my photos. This one was glued to a little inflatable whizzing up the river with a pretty white dog onboard - he wasn't about to welcome him aboard though!!
What fun !!! Plenty going on for dogs too look at then!! This has a fantastic reflection..you can hardly tell where one begins & ends ! It must be a great life on the water & brings to mind that song ''Messing about on the river'' Not sure what the proper title is but I started thinking of that as soon as I saw this !
Another winner with this shot, Judith! What a fabulous composition and excellent reflection. Love that handsome dog warding off pirates and unwelcome white dogs. :)
@samdan@judithg I am going to have that stuck in my head now! Actually I've nearly used that as a title a few times - must find the perfect 'fine weather' shot for it.
This came out really well - yes it was a lovely walk - I was just about to upload my reflection of the little white dog in the boat and thought I'd check you'd not put same shot on, so it's good to see that you've got the picture of this lovely husky (?) who was so busy watching her (I assume the little white dog is a she - I think there was a hint of canine romance about the whole scene!)
Nice vibrant colours add to the pleasing scene :)
congrats on your last two shots! you are very talented!!
