Gourdness me...

Sorry if you've already looked at the river picture - it was annoying me too much so I've swapped it. This one is also annoying as the shadows are too strong but it is Autumnal. The family can't understand the point of it - but they can't understand the point of the gourds I grew either!! To be honest I thought I was growing the dainty little ones not big gnarly monsters!

It IS very autumnal. That's the sun before the soft winter light sets in, so enjoy those strong shadows! Autumnal is a word I never hear in the States.

Gourds are fascinating to me for some reason.. I love their shapes & general autumny feeing somehow! The shadows & late evening sun brings out the richness & I love the lacy shadow on the wall !
