Phew - it's the hardest week ever for inspiration! There was even a bit of sun today so no excuses. I went into Selwyn College and took some lovely dried seed heads but there's something wrong with each of them (dodgy focus mostly). I want to get some cool shots with a bit of quirkiness or a beautiful misty landscape but there is just nothing doing. I have these lillies on a shelf in the living room next to a lamp. They are very beautiful at the moment so they are filling a gap. There is an old map of Barbados on the shelf behind - I'd like to be transported there with my camera...
Lovely shades of sepia here & I love the relief of those stamens against the old map. This weather certainly brings out the inventiveness in us all ! Last year there was snow on the ground in another eleven days time !
absolutely adore the lighting on this Judith - fabulous for a no inspiration shot! Barbados....that sounds liek you need a visa, love to join you but ya know...! Love your story about your conference - you'll be allowed in as you're ATTENDING not HOSTING!! hope you're staying somewhere interesting - it might kickstart your mojo (not that I think it needs kick starting...!) a change is as good as a rest you know!
@judithg LOL - well you know, all it takes to be an expert is the ability to B/S...use long words and exude confidence and nobody will be any the wiser!!
