Thank you iPhone! I got up early (after being up at 1.30 so Monty could have a 'comfort break') to find a very disappointing frost. Undeterred I dragged Monty out of bed and out to Granchester Meadows with fully charged camera battery...and no memory card. Never fear I always carry spare memory cards...only apparently I don't (and I can't find them either :0( ). Misery and frustration ensued until I remembered my phone - hurrah! I' a bit ham-fisted with a phone especially as at this point Monty was on-lead as the VERY muddy areas were rapidly thawing out and he has been known to sink to his belly around here. I managed to video this canoeist before getting myself in order to take snaps. But the wide-angle that the iPhone gives made me happy that I 'chosen' it!
Beautiful colours and reflections - those iphones have a good camera and you're right about the wide angle. Nice blue sky you got there too. Not much to be seen in Leeds this morning.
It's a gorgeous shot, the iPhone can take some good pictures - of course it helps if like you, the owner can see a picture and compose it nicely. This is a lovely picture.
I too was very disappointed at the lack of frost and mist this morning, I'd even set my alarm for 7am!!
Beautiful, just beautiful. This is an amazing shot. Hoping I'll learn to use my Android phone as well - although it will never be an IPhone I guess. :) Fav'd this. It's truly amazing.
So impressed with iphone4, this is such a tranquil photo & I didn't notice the canoeist from the thumb nail so was surprised when he popped up !! Not many ripples to be seen & yet he is quietly making his way down the river all alone with his thoughts !! A beautiful shot Judith.
what a great shot Judith - glad you got your phone on the case - it's treated us to a lovely scene! Can't believe how many "yellow" trees are still about! Hope you find your memory cards soon...there's probably some senior moment joke that could be made here...!
Good story and so true. A few day ago my battery run out of energie and I've forgotten to take replacement with me. I have to think about buying an Iphone
Its wonderful how good this is phones are amazing. I love that walk at Manchester,When we are with Helen we often take the dogs there, does Monty like going in the water ? storm goes in no matter how cold it is then he is a bit mad.
Isn't the quality of the iphone camera amazing. I just can't get over it. This is just lovely. The colors, the reflections, the comp and then that pop of the red canoe just makes it. A fave!
Love this shot, great your using the iPhone too. Will look forward to some hipsta takes on Cambridge...
