OK so he should be gazing at himself for that title but he had bombed my photo of the heron (RHS at the front) several times so I suspected he was trying to tell me to photograph him. This is left over from yesterday actually - I had a few shots I liked and then the exciting evening event so they got bumped.
Those nice people that bought my friend Rebecca Patterson's picture books may like to know that her latest very funny offering 'My Big Shouting Day' was also released yesterday (my friends are just too talented for words!). It's called 'My No No No Day' in some places (USA and Oz at least) and it seems to be available on Amazon already though I'm not sure of all the release dates. It's excellent for anybody with a slightly troublesome toddler. Rebecca secretly stalks 365 and was very pleased with all your positive comments last time!!
Such a great expression, I think he looks like he knows he bombed the picture. Nice composition. Shame about the heron. Those books sound great, always good to hear about new books.
His fur looks as if he has been in the water, sort of fuzzy & damp but that alert expression says it all !!! He is a very handsome boy & knows it I think !!! Yes your talented friend Rebecca, I bought ''The Deep End '' for Max which he is enjoying very much now he is slightly older. Interesting that there is a new one out & I will buy that one too !!! The title sounds very apt for a two year old. I can take it when we go over for Christmas. Tell her to keep up the good work !!!
@bpaquette We had already done a 'pre-walk' before my friend joined us for another one - he's a nightmare to dry & I do embarrass him with a coat at times!!
@judithg metal heron, very tasteful indeed, ours is plastic !!! as for eau de pond ....perfect...........it's a bit like 'Dolce & Gabbana' to a whippet !!!!
Fantastic shot of this little Heron spoiler. I've been chasing one of these too (shot yesterday was unfulfilling but at least got one) and they are hard little devils to catch. Least of all with a boisterous helper. :-)
I like this photo of Monty, the reflections are really good. I must look out for Rebecca's new book . I must send the one I got of hers to Jak & Lana they will love the illustration's
Judith, who wants to see a heron when Monty is here ! (pastic heron I assume) ...Monty looks fab
So crystal clear and what a lovely doggie
