Photos sometimes materialise in really unexpected places. Rachel came with me to take Monty for a walk this afternoon - we are still getting used to the fact that she doesn't have to get home to get back to revision - it keeps being a nice surprise that the exams are over. I steered the walk around one of my favourite routes where I knew I could find a few potential subjects and she spotted a really close up heron for me, held the dog and allowed me to completely mess up the shots without any excuse whatsoever! Anyway I was happy with some nice cygnets and other things and had gone off 'photo duty' when I realised that the underpass back to the car was not only flooded but occupied by cows. I suspect Rachel will be glad to start work!
Some more ball photos and info in my blog http://discovercambridge.wordpress.com/
PS Thanks very much for all the comments on my recent photos - this one seems like a rural version of yesterday's although it is actually close to the centre of Cambridge.
I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw what looked like a cow outline under this bridge! That cow looks completely out of it's comfort zone Judith ..perhaps it thinks it's in the milking parlour! These cows have been getting every where they shouldn't this week!!! Wondrous light!
@fueast@happypat@humphreyhippo I'm trying to remember where the cattle grids are but I think they were quite happy - just not with me trying out flash on them at first! @bdb3471 I've just realised that I now have three cow-graffiti combo photos - I'll have to start a new tag!

The view through the opening at the end looks like someone's big face looking through.:)
Great capture!
Makes a change from hoodies.
