Under the railway line for the abstract theme. Taken with my P&S which I need to investigate as it seems to be taking green pics - I did some adjusting back here. Off to buy a new pond liner. A very busy week and a half ahead including more Olympic trips (not me unless hockey semis suddenly appear), big anniversary parties (not mine), A'level results and big (but I'm not sure HOW big) 18th birthday party. I'm a little twitchy about the latter but there care quite a few karate people coming so any bad behaviour will be ejected!
I love the underside of railway bridges - caught this well! Lots of busyness coming up! good luck with the 18th birthday bash, if you and Nigel drink enough you won't care how the kids behave!! can't wait for basketball tomorrow...and GB have done pretty well to now in the hockey...will be glued to the tv later!!
Beautiful symmetry - perfect for the abstract theme. Rachel strikes me as a responsible enough teenager to have a decent birthday party but I understand your concern. 18 years to go for me before I have to worry about that ;).
Great perspective and lighting. The 18th will be fine. My daughter had a large group of friends over for hers and they were all well -behaved (and we're talking Goths), but a bunch of tealights caught fire and the flames were climbing up the bookcase, so I knocked it to the floor to stomp it out and just missed my daughter's long skirt. Phew! Hope Rachel's party is less exciting.
As long as Rachel doesn't broadcast the party on FB should be OK !!!! Hope the weather is kind to you ..so much easier in the sun!!! Love the receding criss crossing lines & perspective of it all, your P&S did a good job!!
@bpaquette Aha - there's always one at a party! @jannaellen Rachel is very tame but she keeps saying things like 'I'll tell them they can't smoke weed.' Oh good....
@happypat Well she's put a 'private' thing on FB as apparently it's the ONLY way to organise a party. Both offspring looked appalled when I suggested invitations... Of course you can't rely on other people not to stick it on FB....or 365 ;0)
@quietpurplehaze I am very small Hazel! @happypat I'm going to be very visible Pat - there will be quite a few adults actually - I'm imagining one lot down one end of the garden and the other lot down the other and a possible disappearance to go clubbing (and that won't be me!)
