As in street being converted into art. Not happy with the exposure but I wanted to get the detail of the brilliant drawing. He was completely focussed and ignored my rude snapping. Taken yesterday when it was dull - glorious weather today - shame @fueast had to go home! Sorry for erratic commenting - a few extra jobs to do ahead of Rachel's departure on Saturday :0(
Looks a fabulous drawing! Where is Rachel off to? Hope that you are both excited and looking forward to the whole Uni thing! From what I hear it's great!
Oh I was too slow... This is great - could be you in a future endeavour. It is a shame I had to go home. I had loooaads of work to do today and a really boring sandwich for lunch.
@fueast I took Rachel to lunch - she said I had to bond (seems a bit late after 18 years!) - she refused to go anywhere vaguely interesting but it was better for the waistline - the 'big lunch small dinner' didn't exactly work out yesterday.
This looks a very odd hat for a man to wear but there again he is an artist so anything goes!!!! the sketch looks interesting & I am rather fond of pencil drawing. Rachel must be very excited & you apprehensive, always worse for the ones left behind, I hope she has a wonderful university life.
Marvelous street shot of the artist totally engaged in what appears to be a very detailed and intricate drawing. The hat is wonderful. And I see that bikes must be everywhere in Cambridge ~ perfect. Good luck with all the final preparations for Rachel's departure. All will be well, mom.
Inspite of the dull day you've captured beautifully the intensity of his focus on the task. Love how we can also catch a little of the detail in the sketch.
He's really talented! I really like watching street artists and there are so many in Cambridge. Well, there are so many nice things to draw, so no wonder ;).
My dinner yesterday was weird. Coffee, a toffee waffle and some veggie sushi...
