A quick theme shot as I did my reading support session this morning. I had a lovely half hour - I'm sure teachers would love to be able to do one to one like that it's a real privilege. And it gave me the chance to use my bicycle clip (which is, sadly, useless in practical terms!!) I'm looking forward to getting on to the top book which is called, 'That's not our dog!'
Three good things:
1. My photo's in the theme final - and some kind people have actually voted for it :0)))))
2. Whizzing around on my bike.
3. One more sleep until Rachel comes home for the weekend. She's only really back for karate events but I shall pin her down for a couple of evenings.
That's a really nifty clip :o) Love your 3 good things too...I haven't taken a look at the vote yet so I'll be sure to do that in a mo. Have fun with Rachel this weekend xx
A nice theme shot. I already know that reading recovery is successful and have a bit of spare time so think I might investigate opportunities for volunteering in my area. Thanks for reminding me about it again thru this shot.
The books look appealing. They are really trying to make easier books more appealing to older readers who haven't quite taken off yet. Glad you're enjoying it. Well done on getting you pic into the final.
I love children s books & one of the things I have enjoyed lately is choosing books for Max. My word I haven't worn a bicycle clip for years, can you still buy them? I must have a look at your theme vote photo & vote. Have just realised looking again at this photo the books are in your basket & that is your bell on the handle bars, very cool Judith! Enjoy your girl home!
This is a fun shot! Lucky children to have your help, very worthwhile, in fact one of the most worthwhile things anyone can do, it's so fundamentally important.
My little reader at the library today mastered the book, "Mat". "Mat. Mat sat. Sam. Sam sat. Mat sat on Sam. Sam sat on Mat. The end". My dog Kylie was not appropriately thrilled, but I sure was! It is a great thing to help with reading! Glad you enjoyed it. Maybe you should look for a dog clip.
Oh, sweet shot! And so perfect for the theme. You are definitely providing support to the students you assist, the teachers, and ultimately, the community. Well done, Judith. Love the paperclip. :)
Congrats on your excellent Remnants photo making the final cut!! And I know you are looking forward to having Rachel home this weekend ~ enjoy your time together!
