The Boy that Santa Claus Forgot by judithg

The Boy that Santa Claus Forgot

Not my most masterful shot but a diary entry - writing my Christmas cards to the dulcet tones of Nat King Cole. You can't beat vinyl for tone but they don't turn themselves over. And why does he have to sing that sad song about the little boy and his broken toys - and it doesn't have a happy ending either.... Apart from that not a lot happening today apart from a brisk walk with Monty while Adam played hockey with remarkable vim and vigour given a very late night last night.
Three good things:
1. Adam had a great time at the party and all the teenagers behaved (courtesy of a very judicious barman). He crashed out on the sumptuous sofa in the home cinema room on the 3rd floor (4th if you're not British) in the early hours. Yes....but just think of the Hoovering...
2. Rachel is working her way through her own laundry as she seems to have given up on her mother!
3. Waiting for a Thai curry to be delivered - Nigel and Rachel are out tonight and I forgot to buy food for Adam and me - never mind eh?!
Really, you and Nat King Cole swap cards? Incredible. Like this shot actually. Love messing with vinyl.

Love this. I noticed the other day that records seem to be really short. But it's just that you have to turn over halfway through. Aren't we lazy these days! We used to have to GET UP to change channels on the TV, remember?
