In the stable

OK so I didn't take my camera out today.... My kids would say this is 'lame'. Sorry - but I do like my Christmas crib - it's just really hard to photograph it.
Three good things:
1. Rachel has cooked the dinner.
2. Wrapping is finished (I think - I'll find out on Christmas Eve!)
3. There are still SOME pine needles left on my tree :0/
Nice capture

Well the sheep look friendly but those horns look big. I finished wrapping too and was all chuffed with myself until I realised that I just forgot a friends birthday. aargh.

@fueast Oh - drat - I still have an 18th present to wrap - I knew there was something.

That's a beautiful crib, well deserving of a shot.

This is so sweet! The figures look tiny but have the right clothes and postures!

Lovely little scene Judith and Joseph's lantern really works!

I think it makes a delightful scene. I still bring out my knitted one every year - I really must update it. I bought a cheap(er) tree this year - not one of those 'no needle drop' expensive ones. I must say it is doing well so far although I have put it some distance away from the wood stove. Well done on the present front!

More pine needles on the carpet than there are on the tree - and I've lots more wrapping to do when I get home on Saturday!!! You win.
December 19th, 2012
@busylady Mine is a 'no drop' and I've been watering it - might get an artificial in the new year sales - real and artificial are soooo expensive!

Haven't seen one of these for years!

@humphreyhippo You need to come to my house!
December 19th, 2012
@judithg My Mum & Dad's church used to have one, but eventually gave up after it was vandalised so often.
December 19th, 2012
@humphreyhippo Oh now that's Christmas spirit for you vandalising the nativity....tsk.

Lyn
What a sweet nativity scene!
December 19th, 2012
ouch to the pine needle, yay to your daughter cooking dinner, and this is a lovely nativity scene!

Beautiful crip. Hopefully your tree will make it until X-mas.
December 19th, 2012
Your crib reminds me of my son playing Joseph in the infants' school Christmas nativity - he wouldn't thank me for reminding him. Your tree is doing well - less than a week to go!

I finished wrapping to, forgot how very bad I am at it. Do girls have lessons at school?

@johnnyfrs The gene is on the X chromosome.....

I think it's a lovely capture. I am curious about your "3 good things". Is that something you do every day. What a great idea!!! And your last one made me smile ; )
