At the end of the day by judithg

At the end of the day

I had settled on a filler from yesterday since the weather was lovely and sunny today as well but as I headed back to the car park in town this afternoon the snow was falling again and the lights on the wet road were pretty. So this is a quick iPhone shot of Sidney Sussex street. Town meets gown here as Sidney Sussex is most famous for being opposite Little Sainsbury's (although it's much bigger than it used to be and has been usurped by Micro Sainsbury's for smallness). I lost track of the day very early on this morning and never caught up. That means I have work to do tonight so if you see commenting from me before 8.30 tell me off!
Three good things:
1. Drinking coffee in Waterstone's instead of working
2. Snow that doesn't stick
3. Monty's very lovely new collar (even if slightly large)
Glistening and muted. It's very beautiful.

Very pretty colours here, if winteriness is measured by the number of snowfalls then it's been a real winter this year!

Wonderful reflection of light on the wet street. Love your 3 good things you put on daily - you are a glass half full girl obviously. I think I am going to do the same but being glass half empty I think I will have to do 3 bad things. I may start tomorrow :)

Nice colours and like the hazy feel :) Isn't Little Sainsbury's part of gown really - does anyone who isn't a student actually shop there?!

@katharinehubbard I once had an interesting conversation with an alcoholic outside. He tried to give me 20 quid to go in and buy him booze because they'd banned him. He was so beaten up where he'd kept falling over and/or fighting that I had to refuse him. Poor bloke was desperate. And then when I went in the security man knobbled me and said he'd call the police if I'd make a complaint so that they could get him moved on. But he was quite polite so I refused. Of course he could have been gown at one point....

this is beautiful judith, dusk is the perfect time for night time photographs as there is still a little light in the sky and you get gr8 blues like this

This is just lovely--very special! Don't let guilt over not getting back to people worry you so much. 365 is too much fun to let it be ruined by pressure.
