There are some big birthdays coming up this month so I had to do some present shopping today. Adam was flagging at revision and he decided I couldn't buy him a new pair of hockey socks unsupervised so he came with me. These boys started up while we were in Boots and within minutes had attracted quite a crowd. they had a standard drum kits as well and the guy on the right moved between that and the buckets while maintaining the rhythm on anything available. Processed for a bit of a Sixties look I hope.
Three good things:
1. A lovely walk with my friend Linda and we got Monty back on the lead before he noticed the enormous fox that was prowling the area (only by chance - he had gone AWOL presumably because he'd picked up the scent but luckily came back).
2. 50 seems to be pretty young these days.
3. Good news for Rachel's karate testing.
Fifty is very young from my angle !!!!! Love the raw musical enthusiasm from these boys...you don't need much to make good rhythm!! Rachel must have done well excellent!!
This is great Juditth. Love the sixties look. They look like they are really enjoying themselves. Does Adam get embarrassed when you get your camera out?
Great capture, Judith. You have caught some action there and I would say you have processed it to look "sixtyish". Speaking of which, I think 60 is pretty young these days!
I love this - you have capture the feel brilliantly. Their facial expressions show how much they are enjoying themselves. The b&w suits the shot perfectly. Great capture.
All the best people are over 50 ;)
Great candid street shot Judith, I am so glad he did not see the fox, although I am sure he would not have been in any danger, and don't you know 50 is the new 40 LOL
a fabulous piece of street photography judith....works well in monochrome and the motion blur is super too...a tad more grain for a retro 60's shot....although I don't know how you add grain in post processing :)
@judithg judith , i've never heard of camera bag...although I'm not a 'mac man' ...but I've just googled it.....it looks excellent....and runs on pc's too....i might do a bit of research on it....could be good for 'fancy wedding filters' :)
@phil_howcroft You can tweak the photos 'manually' in it but a lot of the filters are quite extreme (if you don't fade them out). Sometimes they are just the ticket though - I used it on The Old Granary.

fabulous street scene, really captured the decisive moment
