I thought there would be all sorts of high jinks on the river today as we have the first decent weather for a week but all was relatively quiet. Decided to throw it into the theme competition though.
A small, peaceful but worried looking demonstration was underway outside King's College this afternoon - our Turkish community are anxious about their relatives and friends in Istanbul.
In other news, my neighbour's pampas grass has regrown and guess who now has it stuck in her throat again? :0(
Three good things:

It is a great scene but to be hyper-critical it is a bit "flat". Tones need bringing out and work doing on the contrast - but what do I know? It is an iconic view. Fav.
@gooner46 It is rather - problem with the 'vintage' look - I noticed that the man on the bridge looks enormous compared to the punters who must be further back than they seem.
Not the pampas grass...that is evil stuff!!! I can guess your funny little cat again....hope she hasn't hurt her mouth!

@happypat Oh yes - back to the vet tomorrow. I've just been round and pulled the new shoots out. Will try & catch Mr Neighbour tomorrow & hopefully he'll dig it out - he'll be busy now the sun's arrived though - I might offer to do it myself....

@lucypics Does that kill it? They are happy to kill it (absolutely cat mad - my neighbour was upstairs lying down with our other cat 'helping her sleep') - just not very good at getting on with the job.
Lovely shot Judith, the bridge is really nice. I just looked up how to kill pampas grass and it seems the solution seems to be dig it up and keeping digging up every time it shoot show and dig again or get a landscaper to do it once and for all. poor cat!!
