I fell victim to the old 'no card in camera' chestnut today so this is another of yesterday's shots. I somehow managed to get myself interviewed about aggressive dogs today by a local radio station. I thought I had agreed to an anonymous off the record conversation for research purposes but what he actually meant was 'not live broadcast'. He looked like the reporter in Broadchurch and I got sucked in. It feels like when you've had an argument with somebody and afterwards you think of all the things you SHOULD have said. It was about dog on dog aggression and I basically said I don't have much trouble with it but really when I think about it it's pretty rife it's just that you learn which dogs to avoid. Anyway the council's answer is to ban dogs in cemeteries and my answer to that was I thought they were banned already - but I actually said something about they don't need to go in there because 'they're not exactly playgrounds' which now sounds like I think that dogs should be allowed in playgrounds - when I meant they are not playgrounds for dogs!! Oh dear - on the up side when he told me which radio station I just stopped myself from saying, 'That's OK I don't know anybody who listens to that.'
Three GT:
1. I'm not a PR guru.
2. I've stocked the cupboards for 5 days so there should be no moaning for at least 48 hours.
3. Andy Murray is playing which means I can procrastinate with the ironing pile.
We can't get the tennis here, just BBC world news. Sounds like you had an interesting day! I like how the blue reflected in the window appears elsewhere in the picture. It's nicely balanced
Love the composition here. So funny about hte interview. Sounds like just the way I would have reacted, especially with the mental post-mortem afterwards
i have switched over to another channel for a bit...he is not at his best just at this minute...sometimes he does better if i switch off!!!!!
Love the mellow sandstone with the trimmings of blue, beautiful Judith!
Beware of any newspaper person, they always fluster you & never get out what you wanted to say!
That is my pet trick , no card!!
Four beautiful elements of architecture... I especially like the way the diamond panes of glass sparkle... I don't think dogs or children should use cemeteries as playgrounds... and go Murray!
What a beautiful composition! Seems to be a good thing you forgot the card or maybe we would have missed out on this little treasure! I hate being interviewed, somehow my brain stops when the camera or microphone starts ;) - I'd be such a bad celebrity ;)). Keep on procrastinating, you deserve it :)!
you are going back to your 365 roots this week Judith ....bicycles and College Buildings....super tones and a nice post processed colours...quite a cool shot
Love this photo - such a beautiful building! Good for you about the interview - I have cup very strong views on aggressive dogs and think certain breeds should be totally banned and the dog owners should have a licence and not just the dog!
I really like this shot Judith. and poor you on the interview, I always have the right answer when I am in bed and thinking about all the wrong things I said!!
Fabulous shot, Judith. Your Cambridge 'details' are works of art on their own. Amazing.
Love your interview story. A politician, well versed in PR, would merely say, "I'm completely against dog aggression", while smiling and offering no further thoughts or solutions. :)
That was a fantastic 5 set thriller that Andy put you through yesterday!!
Oh Judith I really did have to laugh when I read your comments about playgrounds!! Your shot is very pleasing and I like the way the diamond paned window echoes the sculpted grid and the other window panes the lamp!

Love your "I don't know anybody who listens to that" even more. :)
