Painting Lady

I had a night off 365 to watch Andy Murray - hurrah!!

3 GT:
1. A Brit to cheer on in the final - he made us sweat for it - phew!
2. Met an old colleague on my dog walk - she moved to DC for a few years but is now back around the corner form me so it's lovely to bump into her. And she had been listening to the programme about the dogs and heard my story referred to (but not me telling it) - phew x 2!
3. My doggy is being such a good boy and let three little girls take his hoops off him and put his lead on and off without making any fuss at all - phew x 3!
Simply beautiful composition and execution.

Isn't that a perfect summer scene .... just idyllic Judith....wonder if she knows how pretty she looks!!
The garden with the bird flats was truly amazing & had a very large summer house with state of the art easels & painting stuff in....must be a rather lovely hobby!!
Going to watch Murray with bated breath!!

@happypat It was a bit stressful again last night - I'll be on my own for most of it - nightmare!

I want to be where she is, doing what she is doing! Marvelous composition, Judith.
I thought of you and @happypat during Andy's semi-final match. Total edge-of-the-seater. I'm ready for Breakfast at Wimbledon tomorrow. I have my strawberries and cream ready...

The long grass, the big tree and the view all cry out for a painting itself - Constable? Beautiful scene to see from here!

I now this is going to sound silly to you, Judith, but I love all your bicycle shots. In the US, most places are a bit too far for a quick ride, the weather where I live is not conducive to it most of the time, drivers scare the daylights out of you, we're always in too much of a hurry to take the extra time, and, well, we're a bit lazy. So I really appreciate seeing the different attitude you have there about bikes!

a lovely capture judith, don't you think it has a bit of a french feel to it ...the field, the bike and the ladies hat

I was thinking Manet. But with a British edge. Lovely!

Rather lovely. I wish I could paint. I rather fancy sitting dreamily in a meadow in a beret (I know hers isn't, but mine would be...)
