It was a toss up today between some rather lovely rambling roses and this fine fellow. I was rather hampered by a woman who kept stroking him despite the fact that he was only interested in one thing - Monty. Luckily Monty had failed to notice or it would have been 'goodbye photo'.
Two GT:
1. I haven't fed Monty a rawhide chew today so hopefully I won't be in the garden in the early hours doing toilet duty.
2. A productive day - I even made a rather pathetic start on the weeding.
One slightly sad thing:
1. My last day with a 'child' in the house - Adam turns 17 tomorrow. Mind you he still behaves like one sometimes.
Massive big eyes & a bell ..obviously some ones lovely pet cat...he has chosen a fine place to peer at the world!!
A very Happy Birthday to Adam for tomorrow...driving lessons in the offing!!!
@happypat No he doesn't want to yet - phew! I've tried to persuade him actually but it's hard to imagine him driving off - he's the baby!! Rachel waited till the summer hols (the very wet summer hols - all her early lessons were in downpours) - so he'll probably do the same. It'll be cheaper to insure him if he's 18.
I would say that he is transfixed on Monty...ready to bolt at a second's notice. Glad Monty didn't spoil your shot as this is a wonderful capture of this cute little guy.
A very happy birthday to Adam!! I think 17 is a very good year.
Look at those eyes! You can feel how tightly coiled he is - just as well Momty didn't see him. Your son's only 3 weeks older than mine - wish him happy birthday for tomorrow!
Classic "I've seen a dog" shot - it used to be hilarious with my old dog who used to pretend not to see cats - he had no interest in chasing them but he knew that wasn't right.
The more I look at this, the more I love it. The eyes have it. Our dogs are not allowed rawhide at all, they tend to tear off large hunks and swallow, eventually great potential for blockage. Not to mention the other stuff.
Cookie farts something awful if she gets rawhid, e so we tend to stay away from it. lol

That cat really has got its eye on the dog. Seventeen! Gulp! Our babies are growing up
