Bit of a sorry collection of photos today I'm afraid. I took Monty to the country park in the hope of finding lots of water life action but I have no idea where all the swans and geese and ducks have gone - maybe hiding on nests somewhere. So I'm afraid it's a branch.
On a better note I had a comment on an old post called 'Emma's Gate'. It was one of my first posts and I searched the internet to find a little bit about Emma. Having succeeded I realised that this project was not just about taking photos but about learning more about things we see around us. Well it was Emma's mum who commented and if you click on her '@name' you can see a photo she's posted of her lovely daughter. Is has been a sad week on 365 this week and I know lots of people have been very down - Emma's Gate is, I think, a lovely idea for a memorial especially for a young person - her parents chose it a sign of moving from life into the next.
Three good things:
1. Emma's mum taking the time to set up an account and comment on my photo.
2. LOADS of weeding though I'm still suffering from the nettle stings.
3. I picked Rachel up from karate as she wasn't feeling well (not a GT) and she handed me the car key we lost a few weeks ago. We had left it at a party at somebody's house. Gormlessly I tried to put it in the ignition despite the fact that the engine was already running. Saved several hundreds of pounds as I was about to order a new one and as Nigel was at the party as well neither of us knows who left it there!
the light is beautiful in this shot judith. I visited your 'Emmas Gate' picture and the conversation between you and Emma's mum reminds us that the internet can be a good place :)
