We headed off to Sandringham for a Bank Holiday walk - and so did an awful lot of other people. We went totally unprepared in terms of route planning but eventually chanced upon the visitor centre (actually we headed for the big 'V' on Nigel's Ordnance Survey map) where they had run out of sandwiches. After quite a wait we were presented with a choice of cheese or cheese - so I plumped for cheese. Unfortunately when I was spicing it up by the addition of crisps I looked up to check out an Afghan hound that was walking past and Monty nicked half the sandwich!
Clever Monty, a complete opportunist! Lovely, lovely path...where are all the crowds? That sun filtering through is so pretty! I would have liked a walk too.......pathetic me!!
I love your commentary - really had me laughing out loud! I'm just glad you weren't there today! We don't usually go anywhere that's likely to be busy on a bank holiday.
