Deliverance

I had to collect a parcel for Adam from the sorting office which has been very recently relocated from one highly congested part of town to another. The new building however is much smarter and has this lovely memorial plaque in the waiting area. The old one had a forest of signs telling you all the things you couldn't do. It was like somebody had got hold of a signs catalogue and ordered the whole lot. Amongst the things you weren't allowed to do was take photographs which of course made me desperate to take one. I used to go to Porton Down with it's anti-biological warfare facilities and the foyer was less forbidding than the sorting office. Anyway - the signs have not relocated so I took a photo of this - much more appropriate. I did ask the man why there is still nowhere to park despite the enormous visitor car park and my being the only customer and he said, 'They forgot to put enough parking spaces for staff.' I don't think they forgot it's actually a city council policy.
Nicely taken with the blurring round the edges! I do like the blue! Those places that put up no whatever signs should be avoided! Take all the signs away and let people make their own judgements!

That is wonderful Judith.....the PO does care. I never knew there was a Post Office Rifles regiment......a little odd to see your name up there!

It's so clear! Usually such things are so hard to read. Nice shot!
