I took Monty out at lunchtime which turned out to be the darkest drabbest part of the day. Despite a pleasant walk I couldn't find much of any value to photograph. We walked round to the swimming pavilion on Lamma's Land. There's a campaign to save it but it's condition is rapidly declining and there is the rather sad evidence of solvent abuse. In other news Nigel is stuck in Germany - a combination of train strike and an anti-austerity demonstration in Brussels which means that taxis won't drive in. He's back tomorrow on a plane in a weird role reversal of the volcano nightmare.
I'm like Arthur I like a bit of old & decayness......interesting lumps & bumps & wrinkles...bit like me really!
Poor Nigel, perhaps he'll be having a few German beers to cheer himself up!
well it may be neglected, but it certainly makes for a decent photo. Lots of interesting tones and textures, which are the essential ingredients for a mono shot :)
