Square blades

Rachel stayed over last night and sorted out a lease on a new student rental this morning before she headed back to do some more brain stimulating for her project. As I didn't want to miss her very short visit I headed out much later than I would normally do. I bought Monty a new bed to replace the one he did something unspeakable on at 4.30am (could have been worse - he woke me up to take him out for that). He's on new medication for his allergies which seem much better already and I'm hoping there isn't a repeat tonight of the toiletting 'issues'. And then I bought a few new photo frames for the newly decorated office which is looking much posher and can't have random photos propped up hither and thither any more. I also somehow ended up with a laundry basket for Adam's room (I live in hope) and some new Christmas lights. Anyway all this meant it was heading towards darkness and had started raining by the time we got to the river. Luckily St John's 'Lady Margaret Boat Club' added a pop of colour to the gloom. Monty ran down and sat next to the coach on the bank while he gave his instructions which surprised the poor chap a bit but he didn't seem to mind.
PS - The name of the boat - Andy Silk - a coach and oarsman taken too young as was his mother. His father was Head Boatman for years and can still be seen down on the bank coaching.
Fav for a lovely shot, great ripple from the oars and the red jerseys really make it.

Sliky water and great capture of the oars which do not appear to be making much splash! A nice touch with the boat naming.
Monty is not old enough to be doing that sort of thing in the night! Could be kidney problems?

@happypat he'd love that - refused to go back to bed and when I looked in the crate I realised why! Never done that before & three times..... No mention in the side effects though.
