Red Doors

Lady Margaret Boat Club. This is the boat house of St John's College - rumour has it that they had to change the name of the club after an unfortunate incident in which a cox from another college was killed by a St John's boat during a bumps race (where you intentionally hit the boat in front). However, I think this is a myth and it is because back in the day each college had several clubs funded by wealthy students - Lady Margaret being the one that happened to survive. In my younger and lighter days I coxed the 5th Lent Boat and we met on the river at 5.30 am in some freezing cold weather. Happy days!
I've been doing a lot of fiddling recently so I've only straightened this one a bit.
Lovely colourful and peaceful scene.
