Not having got cold enough on this morning's walk I went to watch Adam play a hockey tournament this afternoon. The pitch, near Saffron Walden, is in a very exposed, elevated location and is guaranteed to be freezing but there is a warm clubhouse next to it to stave off hypothermia. Adam's team won but he won't ever let me post pics where any of his friends can be identified (goodness knows why - they aren't shy on Facebook!) so I decided to go for a legs shot and quite liked it.
Frustration with glacially slow internet is mounting (13 days to go till repair day) so apologies for not browsing/commenting much at the moment. Quite often I just have to go on thumbnails...
Judith, I think the image words really well with just legs. Great movement and it is amazing that very few feet are on the ground ! ...but what youngsters have their feet on the ground these days :)
Fantastic! Love this awesome action shot, Judith! I think it works even better with legs only as that is where all the action is taking place. Extremely well done! Worth flirting with hypothermia for this capture. :)
@samdan They got bought out by Hobbs which is still a proper sports shop at least but I trawled the internet for these. The old pair had worn completely smooth - I felt a bit bad when he came home with his elbows completely skinned by astro burns!
