Outside King's College at our 365 rendez vue point yesterday the world was passing by. I would have had an earlier shot if I'd obeyed candid photography rule #1: - remove lens cap.
Hihi, you got a wonderful shot of her. I still wonder what she was doing... Maybe on the way to a hen party? Wonderful use of selective colouring!!! How did you manage to just select her?
I hope it was a hen party - she was walking along like she was off to a conference! I have noticed a few hen/stag parties this year - perhaps it's the recession and Ibiza is too expensive. I photoshopped her to get the colour - two layers, top one B&W and then erased her top layer (so to speak!)
But it would be kind of fun to know... :)
Those darn lens caps have foiled many good shots for me.
This is a wonderful candid shot! Excellent editing and a fabulous composition! Well done, Judith!
Oh, now I'm annoyed I was late and missed this lady (and what with the top of the manic bell ringing, the 30-piece samba band and the roving punt touts, it was all go on Kings Parade!). I'm sure she's on her way to a serious academic conference in one of the University Departments on the social and political implications of small inflatable figures...
Judith....I think.... she wanted to be noticed......she could have blown it up at her destination! Perhaps she is a medical student, but then I suppose she would be carrying a skeleton!!

Great capture!
