Getting a trot on

I think this was a trot - could have been a a canter - I don't know much about horses but I do know these are beautiful animals. It's such a treat to see so many of them just as a sideline of getting from A to B. On The Gallops at Newmarket.
love this picture Judith, great capture

This is so clear & I love the framing ! Those horses do shine & it's interesting to see that the white tape or fence adds so much to the picture !

Judith this is a stunning picture

you know I like letterboxes and I haven't mentioned them for quite some time , but this image really comes alive in letterbox format when you remove the houses and white railing !!!!

Sorry to mention letterbox !!!! It is still a great image without a letterbox !

@phil_howcroft LOL - I knew you'd say that! The horses did look better but I thought it lost the 'racecourse' (it's not exactly the racehorse - actually the training ground) feel and also it's interesting how close the houses are.

@judithg ha ha Judith. Maybe I am too predictable and I do agree that the houses and the 'training rails' give context to the image....

i think I've probably been in camera club photography too long , I keep looking how to improve images all the time , rather than just looking at them in context and appreciating that the image we see is what the photographer wanted us to see !!!!
